Wisconsin Senior Medical Patrol - Fraud Surrounding COVID-19 is On the Rise
Unfortunately, as the world is dealing with a pandemic, fraudsters are finding ways for personal gain during these uncertain times. Scams related to the coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, are rapidly increasing as the public health emergency continues. Scammers are targeting older adults and fraudsters are attempting to bill Medicare for sham tests and treatments. The attached fraud alert will help you understand a bit more about what the fraudsters are attempting to do and how Medicare beneficiaries can protect themselves from this fraud.
If you, or someone you are in contact with, have been the victim of a COVID-19 Medicare scam, please contact the Wisconsin Senior Medicare Patrol to report this suspected fraud. We can be reached toll-free,
(888) 818-2611 or by email,

Attention Community Care Members
The following letters to members from our CEO Kenneth Munson explain changes Community Care has made in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. One letter is to members in our Family Care and Family Care Partnership programs; the other letter is to members in our Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) program. These changes are part of our effort to protect the health and welfare of our members and staff and help contain the spread of the virus. We have made these changes after careful thought and with guidance from local, state, and federal health officials. We are also mailing these letters to each of our Community Care members or their guardians. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will continue to update you as this situation changes.
